Hand-knotted Afghan rug in a classic Khal Mohammadi field design. Rich crimson field densely woven with tight rows of navy octagonal gul medallions, each centered with an ivory and gold star. Framed by a signature scalloped ivory-and-maroon wave border and a multi-band striped outer border in blue, red, and cream.
Hand-knotted by artisans in Afghanistan from wool, with natural fringe finishing. As a one-of-a-kind handmade piece, slight variations in pattern and color are part of its character.
