A navy-ground Shirvan carpet hand-knotted in Kabul, its field set with staggered rows of stepped diamond medallions in ivory, salmon, gold, green and burgundy.
The dark ground pushes the pale medallions forward, so the geometry reads clearly from across a room. Navy border of cross-and-blossom cartouches framed by layered diamond bands and striped kilim ends.
