Hand-knotted Afghan rug in a Baluchi/Turkmen-style repeating diamond design. Navy field with tight rows of small hooked diamond medallions in gold and steel blue, framed by a wide gold border with a diagonal diamond-and-cross pattern. Fine, dense weave. Wool pile, full fringe.
