An ivory-ground Shirvan carpet hand-knotted in Kabul, its field set with staggered rows of stepped diamond medallions in burgundy, slate blue, navy and teal.
Small hooked motifs float in the open ground between them, giving the design room to breathe — less crowded than a typical tribal weave. Navy border of cross-and-blossom cartouches with layered geometric guard bands.
